40. Shoe, Massacre Farm, near Stantėrg, Kosova, 2000
An Albanian farmer lived here with his two sons. They were killed by Serb paramilitaries in 1999, simply because they were Albanian. Because of the isolated situation in which they lived, the bodies were not discovered until some time after the murders. It is unnerving to walk here.
